Solutions for Demanding Applications
WellPCB manufactures Rogers PCBs using RO4000, RO3000, TMM, and RT/duroid series laminates to support RF, microwave, and high-speed digital applications that demand low dielectric loss and stable impedance performance.
These boards use hydrocarbon ceramic laminates and PTFE-based series laminates from Rogers Corporation, enabling low dielectric constant values (as low as 2.2) and dissipation factors (Df) down to 0.001. These high-frequency PCB materials include hydrocarbon ceramic laminates and PTFE-filled composites with dielectric constants from 2.2 to 10.2 and dissipation factors below 0.002.
We support multilayer PCB substrates up to 64 layers with copper foil builds from 0.33 oz to 28 oz, surface finish options like ENIG and Immersion Silver, and via structures including laser-drilled microvias and stacked via-in-pad routing. We support PCB fabrication with up to 64 layers, 1.8 mil trace/space, and laser-drilled microvias in laminated stackups with low CTE values (10–17 ppm/°C).
Rogers board builds are compatible with via-in-pad and buried via routing, and we offer hybrid stackups with FR4 for cost-effective performance optimization.
Rogers PCBs are built using certified laminate material from Rogers Corporation, tested for coefficient of thermal expansion, dimensional stability, and moisture absorption. Every board undergoes impedance validation, AOI, X-ray, and netlist-based electrical testing to meet Class 3 quality standards.

All Rogers PCBs are modeled with ±3 Ω impedance tolerance for microstrip and stripline structures.Â
Laminate selection and dielectric thickness are optimized to minimize signal loss and maintain signal integrity in multilayer stackups up to 64 layers, supporting high-speed transmission above 6 GHz.
We fabricate boards with microvias, blind vias, and via-in-pad routing using 3 mil laser drilling.Â
These features are compatible with high-frequency Rogers material PCB builds and are supported by CF4/O2 plasma cleaning for improved plated through-hole reliability on low z-axis coefficient of thermal expansion substrates.
Our Rogers board manufacturing process maintains consistent trace width/spacing down to 1.8 mil and supports copper foil weights from 0.33 oz to 28 oz.Â
These parameters are essential for reducing dielectric loss in high-frequency PCBs and improving thermal conductivity without compromising dimensional stability.
WellPCB manufactures hybrid PCBs combining FR4 with Rogers circuit board material to reduce fabrication costs while preserving RF layer performance.Â
These constructions balance substrate dielectric properties and structural efficiency, especially in designs requiring isolated signal layers and controlled impedance routing.
All Rogers PCBs are validated for mechanical properties under thermal cycling. RO4000 and TMM series materials exhibit stable z-axis CTE between 10 and 17 ppm/°C, high Tg values ≥280°C, and low moisture absorption, making them ideal for high-temperature or humid environments like radar and telecommunications modules.
We offer ENIG, Immersion Silver, OSP, and Lead-Free HASL finishes over treated Rogers laminate materials.Â
Matte and gloss solder masks are applied after pre-baking at 110°C to 125°C for 30 to 60 minutes to preserve trace spacing and achieve clean coverage on high-frequency substrates.
Every Rogers printed circuit board undergoes AOI, X-ray, impedance testing, and netlist-based electrical verification.Â
Boards built with Rogers material are inspected for consistency in electrical properties, DK/DF performance, and fabrication integrity to meet IPC-4103 and IPC-6012 Class 3 standards.

Rogers PCB Client Feedback
As an R&D manager, I have had an outstanding experience working with WELL-PCB. For many years, our company has entrusted them with the production, assembly, and programming of the boards developed in our R&D unit, and they have consistently exceeded our expectations.
Hamid Reza Moshayedi
R&D Manager
Their work is very impressively perfect. Today, when they check our company PCB board after assemble. They found a fake short point which many engineers has never found in the past years. But that is just designed so. The PCB board quality is excellent. Their service is also excellent.
MikeZ
My friend introduced WellPCB to me, the first try, a little look forward to. I ordered a 47*72 10ps PCB, and I can’t wait to receive my PCB. So I used expedited service and received my PCB in three days. I tested and soldered the PCB, Quality is really good, silkscreen, plating also great.

Rogers PCB FAQs
What are the design guidelines for high-frequency Rogers PCBs?
Use short trace lengths, avoid right-angle corners, and route high-frequency nets with matched impedance. Select Rogers materials like RO4003C or RO3003 based on target Dk and Df values. Maintain uniform trace widths and controlled dielectric thickness to minimize signal loss and preserve signal integrity at frequencies above 6 GHz.
What are the most common manufacturing challenges with Rogers PCBs?
PTFE-based Rogers materials require specialized drilling, low-pressure lamination, and chemical surface preparation. Maintaining consistent CTE alignment and preventing trace delamination during thermal cycling are key. The RO4000 series is easier to process and compatible with FR4 production lines.
How does moisture absorption affect Rogers PCB performance?
High moisture absorption can shift dielectric constant and increase loss tangent, degrading RF performance. Rogers laminates such as RO4350B and RT/duroid 5880 maintain <0.05% absorption, preserving electrical properties and dimensional stability in high-humidity environments.
Which Rogers materials are best for multilayer PCB design?
RO4350B and RO3003 are commonly used for multilayer RF PCBs due to their low z-axis CTE, stable Dk, and excellent adhesion. These materials support high-density interconnects, via-in-pad routing, and controlled impedance in stackups up to 64 layers with minimal layer shift or thermal distortion.
